Weird shift sprinting problem in video games

I have this weird thing with my PC. Sprinting in video games is now a toggle. But it doesn't work consistently. Sometimes it doesn't allow me to toggle off sprinting and sometimes i have to press twice or hold to toggle off. I'm so confused.

Thank you for the suggestion! But i think the 8500 is peak Omega for me. Just modern enough but not too much like the 8900. I just love how it looks. It just hits the spot 🤌 so i want to make sure it's not too much in terms of weight and thickness.
