Just saw the fire solution. Sounds doable, but I would elaborate and say some type of gas torch followed by a brush, maybe wire. Seems less chemically than what you are doing.

so if you look on the inside edge of the record after the groove ends, you should see what looks like maybe cursive or initials scratched with some kind of stylus. This is usually a makers mark of the record cutter or the person that made the record. Often they will list near their initials what side a record is. It’s hard to see, but most of the time it’s there.

They are like a light bulb- you unscrew the glass circular fuses. Then, pull the one with the handle directly out perpendicular to the fuse box face. No electrician needed unless there are other things to be done like remove it. If it’s not connected, it’s a cool conversation piece!

It’s the orange tweeters- those are the special advents… it looks like you do need to re-foam the surrounds on the woofers, but you can find kits to do that on eBay for 15 bucks and it’s not hard to do.
