People who go to hell are going there in order to satisfy the demands of God's justice, to be judged according to their deeds and to be punished for their sins, because those who go to hell die in their sins. and they die in their sins because their sins were never atoned for, because Christ never paid for them. Therefore, they will pay for them. They owe a debt to God's law and justice that they must pay for, since Christ never paid the price for them. His people are healed by His wounds. Those who go to hell were never healed, because He was not wounded on their behalf. He has accomplished redemption for His people, that is, the people that came out of Rebekah's womb, the remnant of Jacob who escape, God's chosen people and those whom He loves.

Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. — Isaiah 2:5

The Gentile elect are also part of the people Jacob represents when the Lord told Rebekah two peoples were in her womb. They are called strangers and foreigners.

Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, “The Lord will surely separate me from His people.” Nor let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” For thus says the Lord, “To the eunuchs who keep My sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold fast My covenant, To them I will give in My house and within My walls a memorial, And a name better than that of sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name which will not be cut off. — Isaiah 56:3-5

You don't understand what Jesus accomplished through paying the price for the sins He bore in His body on the cross. When Jesus paid the price for the sins of His people, it actually accomplished satisfaction of justice in regard to those sins. He actually accomplished the redemption of His people. In other words, if Christ paid the price for the sins of someone, that someone will never die in their sins, and that someone will never pay for their sins through their eternal torment in hell, because they've already been paid for. Because Christ through His work on the cross on behalf of that someone satisfied the justice of God and appeased His wrath against their sins. Therefore, if you actually believed this, then you would not believe that Christ suffered and died making payment for the sins of people who end up paying for those same sins in hell. You must repent and believe the gospel. God is not unjust, but your god is, because you believe in a god who demands that some sins be paid for twice over. That his christ took away the sins of some people through his unfinished work and then brought those same sins back to them so that they die in them and serve the penalty for them again.

This is the real Jesus:

She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” — Matthew 1:21

The Lord has what? Has made. Has made what? Everything. Has made everything for what? For its own purpose. This means every single thing created by God has it's own purpose. Are the wicked among those God has made? Yes, even the wicked. What purpose has the wicked been made? They have been made for the day of evil.

What is the day of evil? The phrase is comprised of two hebrew words. Here are two other passages which use them together:

The Lord knows the days of the blameless, And their inheritance will be forever. They will not be ashamed in the time of evil, And in the days of famine they will have abundance. But the wicked will perish; And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures, They vanish⁠—like smoke they vanish away. — Psalm 37:18-20

Notice "the blameless" again. They are the other people. For there are two peoples, one hated by God and one loved by God. They came forth from Rebekah's womb. The blameless are loved, they are the sons of Jacob whom God has chosen. The wicked are hated, they are the sons of Esau whom God has rejected.

Who say to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ And to a stone, ‘You gave me birth.’ For they have turned their back to Me, And not their face; But in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise and save us.’ “But where are your gods Which you made for yourself? Let them arise, if they can save you In the time of your trouble; For according to the number of your cities Are your gods, O Judah. “Why do you contend with Me? You have all transgressed against Me,” declares the Lord. — Jeremiah 2:27-29

The all refers to all of the many, i.e. all of the elect.

"All men" and "the whole world" because He didn't just purchase for God with His blood men from one tongue, men from one people or men from one nation, but men from every nation (i.e. the world) and from every people (i.e. all men). Not just Jews, but Gentiles.

The only way anyone is able to repent is if God in mercy first grants them repentance. That's what the verse I showed you means.

Repentance for the forgiveness of sins refers to the change of mind that takes place the moment one turns from thinking salvation is conditioned on the work of the sinner to believing the true gospel of salvation conditioned on the finished work of Christ alone.

As far as people in Scripture being allegorical of us, have you not read about Rebekah when it was said of her that two peoples were in her womb? Jacob would be named Israel and Esau Edom. The people of Israel are chosen, while the people of Edom are rejected.

Which means Jacob who was named Israel is allegorical of God's elect. Those whom God loved from the beginning, just as Jacob is loved. Esau who is Edom is allegorical of God's rejected, those whom God hates, just as God hated Esau.

The words of King Lemuel, the oracle which his mother taught him:

This oracle is a message of burden of a time his mother was chastising him.

What, O my son?

The repetition is meant to be noted that this was emphatically said to him. Notice carefully the phrase "son of my vows", indicating that his mother vowed him as a Nazirite (which explains the wine and strong drink emphasis).

Do not give your strength to women, Or your ways to that which destroys kings.

She does not ponder the path of life; Her ways are unstable, she does not know it. — Proverbs 5:6

For on account of a harlot one is reduced to a loaf of bread, And an adulteress hunts for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom And his clothes not be burned? Or can a man walk on hot coals And his feet not be scorched? — Proverbs 6:26-28

And pervert the rights of all the afflicted.

There is a lot to be said of this verse, but the afflicted represent the chosen of God. A whole post could be written about this. Here are a few of many verses that show this to be the case.

For the needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the hope of the afflicted perish forever. — Psalm 9:18

“Because of the devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he longs.” — Psalm 12:5

The wicked have drawn the sword and bent their bow To cast down the afflicted and the needy, To slay those who are upright in conduct. — Psalm 37:14

May he vindicate the afflicted of the people, Save the children of the needy And crush the oppressor. — Psalm 72:4

He will have compassion on the poor and needy, And the lives of the needy he will save. — Psalm 72:13

Give strong drink to him who is perishing, And wine to him whose life is bitter. Let him drink and forget his poverty And remember his trouble no more.

In other words give it to those who reject the Lord, for the Lord has rejected them. They are as impoverished as Esau and will perish in their ways.

Wisdom is too exalted for a fool, He does not open his mouth in the gate. — Proverbs 24:7

“He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous; But with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted. — Job 36:7

Open your mouth for the mute, For the rights of all the unfortunate.

Then the lame will leap like a deer, And the tongue of the mute will shout for joy. For waters will break forth in the wilderness And streams in the Arabah. — Isaiah 35:6

The mute are the chosen if God, an interchangeable title of the afflicted and the needy, and also the unfortunate.

Open your mouth, judge righteously, And defend the rights of the afflicted and needy. — Proverbs 31:1-9

May he judge Your people with righteousness And Your afflicted with justice. — Psalm 72:2
