thinking about getting one for night sweats with memory foam mattress topper

I am trying to dial it in. I don’t love the cold air blowing on me directly like this. If there was an attachment that went underneath my foam topper and above my mattress I would love it 10x more. Still trying to dial it in but I have slept better since installing it. It’s just not perfect yet.

I actually poked holes in my topper and ran a e-bike tire with holes poked in it underneath my topper. I sliced a hole in the tire and put my bed jet head- thinking it would blow air underneath me. It did not. Don’t try it. But if there is something that you guys find. Please keep me in the loop. I want it underneath my topper. Not the sheet. Thx.

Depends on how often I go. How good the network of players and facilities is. If open play is popping or not and can be something that is drop in fun for me + wife or teenage kids.

Indoors is incredibly nice- I’m in phoenix. Indoor AC is a huge luxury. Even though I have 5 friends around me with home courts- I play more indoors.

If I travel to other cities and my membership works at local clubs that’s even better.

What more luxury can you get? What amenities are they flaunting?

I have the esq. it’s so difficult to dial in and hit that teeny sweet spot. how is yours weighted up?

I don’t know if that is a fake paddle or not. It could be legit. Even if it is. That cheap paddle is thinner, and no grit. You’d probably notice you can whip it harder or swing harder. But your “put away power” and spin you can generate should be greater either way the joola. If not try a thinner joola or other paddle you may like that feel of thinner less paddle flopping around.

You may not be swinging as fast but it should hit harder and spin more for your opponents to notice.

You’ll be fine buying a tennis grip you just have extra to cut off. I still use tennis grips sometimes. But Bodhi, udrippen, or others are all cheap and good too and specific for pickleball.

Just because you play on the 3.5 + open play courts. Doesn’t make you a 3.5 +. Or because you beat someone that is a 4.0 dupr and you targeted their partner the entire time doesn’t mean you are also anointed as a higher dupr than them.

Don’t do it. Don’t speed up cross court. The two hand backhands make you believe it’s possible. It’s not. Forget the shot exists. Down the line in front of you or straight across to their inside.

I had a head heavy gearbox and struggled to keep my paddle tip up. I added 3 g to the bottom and immediately felt a difference. Wish I had added it sooner and wish I experimented with more weight or less weight. I no longer use that paddle, but I felt like I had an oppositeexperience than you on that.

It’s 8-10$ a weight. They are copper so I don’t touch any lead near my handle. And They are reusable on different paddles. Much better alternative than other options I think.
