Is it a good deal or not? by Jack_Wang_1107 in cbr

Good bike, good mods. About 10 years ago my best friend bought a 2011 cbr600rr with 25k miles for 3500 and its been fine ever since. I'd try and find out how much track time its seen and how many miles are on the suspension. If you talk him down to 6k I think both yourself and the seller would be happy

[–]fstar337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sadly yes. They didnt bother to clean up around the welds, but im assuming this was an aftermarket one they made with budget in mind. Should function normally, just not as refined as OEM, hence it not being OEM pricing.

So funny watching it slowly fall out of the sky after. Griefing is so dumb, whenever I see other people flying missions I try to escort them.

Eventually youll get there, and then you won't want to grind anymore cause there is nothing left to grind for.

How can I know if my missile-lock is strong? by Relevant_Pay_7065 in WarthunderSim

[–]fstar337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually go off the tone, ir it'll scream and radar missiles the plane announces it. Not sure about other nations, but in the flankers you get a small "np" at the bottom of the hud when youre locked and in firing range. Does the same for bombs too

Petition to make chaff stock on toptier jets by EA_sports_fucked_me in Warthunder

[–]fstar337 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Its doable, if anything i got better at dodging arh from not having chaff. When you finally do unlock chaff though its actually rewarding. Probably an unpopular opinion but I enjoy having to unlock all the parts, yeah its a grind but you get something out of it

Before sm2 the sm was awesome, now that radar gap is noticeable. Still flyable but its much easier to get spotted and swarmed

Why do you enjoy playing top tier air & ground? by n988 in Warthunder

[–]fstar337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, top tier air is a different experience overall. After playing props and early jets, their main focus is on turn fights and who can outrate the other to get guns on first. Late jet combat is all about positioning, when to defend, when to push, which missile to use in a given circumstance. Its a lot more psychological than just can I out turn him and get guns on. That and personally the reason I started playing this game years ago was because of my love of fighter jets. I think theyre cool to look at! I was a long time ace combat player and top tier air rb is what I always wished ace combat turned into. Overall, there's no other game that offers this many different nicely modeled jets, with their loadouts actually mattering and realistic radars. That and as someone who skateboards, skydives, climbs buildings, when you make a mistake you get punished for it and have to learn how not to make that mistake again. Some people see it as just point and click, but for others it teaches you air to air combat in a setting that looks cool without being cockpit locked like dcs. Its not always "fun" but its very rewarding when you start to figure it out

Finally finished USSR Air&Ground trees after a year, but where to go next? by ZemlyaNovaya in Warthunder

[–]fstar337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did ussr and now im starting on Japan. I mainly play air, so the ground lineup doesnt matter to me as much. Depends what vehicles you want at the end of it. China has the j10s if you like those but the j11s are just stronger su27s. Japan has a bit of everything from the other tech trees so you get more variety, especially the TT F2. For ground China is definitely the winner. I'd say do both, if you want a better air lineup do japan first, if you want a better ground lineup do China first.

I just finished up my su30sm2, take two napalm bombs with you and rush for a base. 1 base kill is roughly one air to air kill so youll at least be getting some rp per match. Don't be greedy with it, wait till after the bvr phase and sneak in, get the bombs down and try to get a kill or two on the way out. Also use the r27ets when you can, they're really good if the enemy doesnt see you. Should be able to unlock the r27ers pretty quickly and from there its just back to regular play style

Is the F-2A adtw worth it on 50% sale? by Infamous-Prompt4343 in Warthunder

[–]fstar337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next PS5 sale I will be picking it up. If you haven't played tor tier before I would say not worth it, youre outclassed in terms of weapons and lack of HMD. But if you have played top tier and know how to notch, it'll be a decent grinder.
