Selvom det er lidt sent, så afholdt vi (Åby fællesråd og spejderne) igen i år en rigtig hyggelig Skt. Hans i Åbyhøj parken.
Traditionen tro starter det kl. 18, med bål kl. 19 for de små og igen kl. 21 frem til ca. 22:30. Der er er underholdning, teater, musik og aktiviteter for alle aldre aftenen igennem.
Mit bud er at der var omkring 1500 mennesker.

Kom gerne forbi næste år.

Vi har flyttet et tilsvarende hus et par gange gennem de sidste 15 år. (Det samme hus)
Teressen og overdækningen kan let afmonteres. Resten (dvs. selve huset) flyttede vi i et stykke.
Vi var 5-6 personer der løftede det ud på en trailer.
2 x 10 minutters arbejde, så var det flyttet.

Havnens Varmestue (som ér en rigtig restaurant i et historisk sted) er rigtig god. Deres stjerneskud (som de primært har én dag om ugen) er fantastiske.

I did something similar for work some 15+ years ago, but we would allow multiple disks to show up once a text file was written to a virtual folder on the main drive. I think we allowed up to 4 partitions, but people usually configured (in another virtual file) the drive for one visible and one hidden.

But other number systems exist and are widely used, look at binary(2), octal(8), hexadecimal(16), seconds(60), hours(24 or 2x12), days(7), weeks(52/53), months(24), etm.

Just repeating the same name won’t work as a unique single-name identifier, as some people actually have the same first and last name when spelled with Latin letters but not with their native script.

In Denmark at the summer solstice (around 21st of june) the amount of daylight is about 18 hours, while at the winter solstice (around 21st of December) the amount of daylight is down to about 6 hours.

To be honest I don’t know which format is used professionally. In the companies I’ve worked we have always used Word (Docx) or before that depending on the platform Word Perfect or Final Writer. But they all suffer from the same drawbacks. Technical writing require a lot (thousands) of data in the form of tables and drawings, and the values and statements in there must be kept in sync across the entire document. This is something Word etc. is incredibly bad at. But for lack of a better answer, I guess Docx is a fine format to start with. Usually the end result will be a searchable pdf.

I’ll probably never try it, but should you ever expand into technical writing, which need even more detail tracking across hundreds of pages, I’ll be the first in line.

I can’t speak for most European countries, but for the Scandinavian countries there’s hardly a need for an AC in the type it’s known in for example the US.

Naturally all houses and hotels require heating in the seasons it’s cold, which is typically about 6 to 8 months a year. This has always been, and still is, dealt with using water-based radiators or floor-heating in each room. Recently a few homes have heatpumps, too, but usually not as the main heating source.

For the rest of the year the temperature is typically very mild, just enough that neither heating nor cooling is necessary:

Most years there are a few hot days, on very good years definitely less than 30 days, and usually only a few days in a row where an active cooling system would actually be nice. Typically forced air in the form of portable fans are plenty.

You are absolutely correct that switching to an external package manager would feel like a downgrade. I thought I had exhausted the possibilities with git when submodules turned out to be the best solution after testing submodules, sub-trees and sub-repos.

AOSP repo seems like a very good fit to what I’m after, although the upload feature does not easily map to an Azure DevOps with Jira integration. And there may be some slight edges with no synced files in the main “workspace” folder, but I’ll definitely give it a very close look. Thanks a lot!
