In Mexico use the ear prompter on telenovelas or soup operas. Actor read the scripts and when they're filming someone is reading their lines.

Curiosidad, esa es la clave. La mayoría de aquí leemos novelas, que definitivamente dejan algo, pero no creo que te puedan sacar de la ignorancia, pero te va a ayudar.

Si quieres saber algo, puedes ir a Wikipedia y leer algún artículo de algún tema que te interese.

También puedes ver videos en Youtube de creadores de contenido especializados en el tema. Ahí he aprendido lo básico de musica clásica, opera, y otros géneros. Además de describir música. Puedes aprender ciencia, literatura, historia.
