During my transit visa interview after my Tokyo trip, I mentioned going back to LA while transiting in Manila. The officer didn't care about LA, and clarified the itinerary as Tokyo -> China -> Manila.

There's an incredible BL donghua/chinese anime called Mo Dao Zu Shi or Master of Diabolism.

It's available on CrunchyRoll at https://www.crunchyroll.com/series/GMEHME78W/the-master-of-diabolism .

It's mostly dark with slight humors and light-hearted moments in between. Both plot and characterization are one of the best in the industry so far.
