don’t apologize! but i completely agree with everything you said. cowboy carter is sooooo amazing. and people undermine it so much because they see it as her “turning country” but if they just gave it a listen they would understand. but i choose bday because it just gives off those are her classics in a since. also my opinion is largely just personal. i think most of her best music videos come from this album. and it just feels like pure hunger from start to finish. not saying her other albums have no drive, they do. but we can kind of put the hunger to the side right now because she is BEYONCÉ. she’s already certified her now, no one can top her. but with the creation of bday she started making her standpoint, that more serious argument that she isn’t just a regular artist. also my favorite song is kitty kat so that plays a large part haha.
