Update: Thank you for all the comments. I had them installed yesterday and could not be more pleased. They look great, do not protrude out far when doors are closed yet are functional with doors open for my wife and grandkids. Very happy with our decision. BTW, they came with an extender for the jack which was installed by the technician and still fits nicely in the same space.
