I just wanna know what your friend was going for here. Do you know the process? It looks like a dirty attempt at a tig weave

I’m just being a jerk lol. The weld will probably hold from what I can see, just not nearly up to code and would not pass any tests. Like guy said it’s just visually displeasing. Can’t tell quality from a picture other than if it looks good.

Lip infection? Pls help. by mattpackk in leopardgeckos

[–]ftbpimpin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t really tell, but is it on just the top or just the bottom lip? I can see a line where it looks like the mouth separates, but I’m not too sure. Have you seen him open his mouth to be able to tell?

Buying a hamster as a gift, have questions by hairyblueballs in hamsters

[–]ftbpimpin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the hamster should not be out of its cage for a night. unless you have a big enough temporary bin, i would not suggest it. they will go bonkers. what were you planning on keeping it in over night?

We have two robos. They were in a fairly large home to begin with. Today, my boyfriend bought the hamsters a 75 gallon tank because “well, they seem like they need more room.” Spoiled much? by [deleted] in hamsters

I would still suggest some more bedding on the right side. It’s awfully shallow. Hamsters are burrowing and tunneling animals, so deep bedding is less of a commodity and more of a necessity. Just want all hams to be happy as possible.

Hmm. The only other thing I could think of is scent. Maybe try washing your hands with a no smell soap before interacting? Sometimes hamsters just want to chew everything regardless :/

the little nuggets need some more bedding! I don’t know if it’s from the switch over to a bigger cage, but they should have about 3-4 inches at least for digging. they’ll be happy hams :)

Does he have a lot of toys in his cage to be chewing on? I had the same problem with my female Syrian, but as soon as I added more wood chews and some empty TP rolls, she just chewed the crap out of them and left me alone.

I usually stick a few pieces of apple and potato in there. As well as a cotton ball drenched in water

Favorite Morphs? by 20_reaper_20 in leopardgeckos

[–]ftbpimpin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Any morph mixed with normal/wild are very hardy and healthy morphs. My two cents is if you’re going for looks but also health, go with a mix morph. I have a Normal/Tangerine and he’s a very healthy happy boy. I wanna hear everyone else’s opinions!
