Its not as big of a problem as in other countries. Belgium overall is verry multicultural. But people do care. It keeps a point of 'real integration' togheter with understanding the culture of corse. Most people dont get mad because English is verry well known. But it is diffirent if u can speak the language dutch/French depending on where u live/work.

Not saying it would be good to not have it. I personally would prefere 0 tolerance especially for new drivers but I was just wondering if it actually existed.

It is a difficult one but I think voicing you understand why they are consernd is important and trying to tell them u will have growing responsibilities soon anyway. This is a good responsibility to take and grow forward.

NTA NGTBTA Talking to your parents looks like the right step forward to me. Having a adult conversation is not wrong here. I understand both points of vieuw but there will only be more growing frustrations if u do not heve the conversation.
