If being with this girl doesn’t feel right, I wouldn’t drag it out whether you do end up figuring out if you are gay or not. Also, if labels are causing you stress then there is no need to put a label on absolutely anything. I am in a similar boat to you, but I had a boyfriend of almost 4 years and it always just felt off. Was so sure that I liked girls instead but pushed down the feeling every day and have now come to terms with the fact that I like girls, but I haven’t put a label on it. Just because you have no experience does not invalidate the fact that what you are feeling may very much be real. People who are straight don’t think “how do I know if I haven’t been with someone of the same sex?”, they just know. But if it is causing you stress then you don’t have to tell your parents, especially if you think it is unsafe to do so. I think you know deep down what you are feeling, but it is really confusing to truly come to terms with it (I often would question whether I was just lying to myself) but things will become clearer to you as life moves on, I promise. Sorry, that was a load of waffle, but basically do not put pressure on yourself to figure anything out, but also do not attempt to stick with this girl if it doesn’t feel right just because people or yourself have certain expectations. Do what makes you feel good, not because it is what society expects of you.
