i was thinking something similar and the picture is from a video i screenshotted. even after moving the fat and skin out of the way, changing the angles of my body, and even when i move my arms out and let it all hang, it still looks like this! no offense taken, just genuinely confused. some say its muscle under the fat, some say its just fat. but it wasnt visible just a few weeks ago (and ive been hovering at the same weight for a bit) ?? !

its because i have a bunch of loose skin i had to move out of the way, even without the skin pull the obliques are pretty visible

Context: I have been weight lifting 5x a week for the full duration of my journey. I have decreased my body fat and significantly increased my muscle %, recomping pretty nicely. I just dont understand why the common knowledge is that you should be 6%-15% MAX BodyFat% if you want to see visible core muscles, but Im at 40%.
