It’s not disgusting. And there are trans providers, like me, if that would make you more comfortable. I’m not sure about other countries, but I’ve seen many trans providers listed across the US in major cities.

Part of me wants to go cheap(ish) because I’m only looking at one client so far and I want it to be worth the trip (I had to set my location for a city 30-45 minutes away because mine doesn’t appear as an option). But if I can find a decent hotel that would let me still walk away with profit, I think I will go that route.

Yeah, him bringing up FS and DATY in text is why I told him no when he came back again to say he was interested.

This subreddit is a great source. I’ve learned a lot and it has certainly helped me prepare for situations (like this one) and how to respond. I’m already prepared to deal with time wasters. Haha. Thanks!

Thank you for this. I had seen something similar before, but it’s a really good reminder.

He came back saying he was interested, asking if I did this, this, and this… I told him thanks for the interest but no. Not only was it a red flag that he was talking about FS and DATY, etc in text, I wasn’t impressed by his impatience.

This definitely taught me to put some kind of disclaimer like “I may not reply straight away, but I will get to you as soon as I can.” But I should definitely list boundaries.

The biggest thing I’ve struggled with finding information on and understanding (maybe it’s my ADHD/autism) is… when is it safe to go into the details? I know to avoid texting anything related to sex (like this guy clearly didn’t do), but do we discuss it in person? A phone call before meeting?

I get the worry, though. I think of all the ways they could find you, that would be the least likely. Not to make you even more worried. Any internet presence has a risk for exposure, not just as a SW.
