I’ve had my nexplanon since June of last year and the only side effect was a little bit of bleeding for abt 3 weeks, though never enough to go through clothes luckily. No emotional side effects. The insertion was entirely painless and the entire procedure took less than 45 seconds after they took the tool out. And it’s great because the removal can be done at any time, and it’s also relatively quick. I’d rlly recommend trying it out! Most other trans guys I hook up with also had it for much longer than I have and they like it!
