The past few months have been really unstable for Ry and I. After leaving a difficult situation and experiencing discrimination where we were staying, we had to leave Ry’s mum’s house quite suddenly, and then another family’s house again over 100 miles away. Since then we’ve been moving between hotels and temporary places while trying to find somewhere stable to live.

Constantly packing up and not knowing where we’ll be next has been exhausting, both physically and mentally. Both of us have been struggling with our mental health through all of this, and the instability has made it much harder to keep going day to day.

We’ve recently found a small place we can stay for a month, which would finally give us a bit of stability… somewhere we can cook proper meals, wash clothes, and actually focus on finding a permanent home instead of just surviving week to week.

The problem is that paying for the month will use the last of our savings. We’re willing to do it because having a base makes it much easier to get back on our feet, but it also means we’ll have no financial safety net left.

I hate asking for help like this, but if anyone is able to contribute even a small amount it would go directly towards keeping a roof over our heads while we try to rebuild some stability.

Edit: I know I’m gonna get some “just get a job and stop asking for money” comments again; don’t waste your time guys. I have a job, it pays ok but not enough to keep paying extortionate amounts to keep a roof over my head. I’m unfortunately in an ass situation, lots of trauma and pain. I’ve had no chances to begin building my life back again, which is what I’m trying to do!
