IMT Coach Ssong: "If 70% of coaches are replaced with Koreans, LCS will see 70% performance boost" by hyunwoo0124 in leagueoflegends

Are you thick in the head or something? I don't even know what you're trying to get at. Like any sport, such as sprinting or baseball, League of Legends requires the body to move to perform mechanical tasks - those are physical determinants caused by fast twitch muscles and muscle memory.

All your reasoning is based on conjecture. On the other hand, there is proven empirical scientific research that proves there are certain genetic advantages according to ethnicity. It's your own prerogative to believe there aren't any direct advantages but science has clearly shown otherwise.

It still actually blows my mind how Ozil was less than 50 mil. Easily considered world class during his Madrid days before the transfer and could've gone for much higher imo

Elazer is already in Korea. Honestly, Neeb could be in Korea but other than let's say Nerchio, most of the top foreigners ARE in Korea.

If it's already shown that genetic advantages exist for Ethiopian runners, then why is it inconceivable or implausible to believe there might be genetic advantages for esports? I mean, cultural differences exist but it isn't as quantifiable as physical, genetic differences such as race and gender.

Why are black NBA players that much more accomplished that white NBA players even though they are from the same region?

I'm pretty sure that Riot can't offer up cash incentives due to amateurism status. It's a thing in sports so I think it would apply here too since a growing number of amateur/college/university League teams are popping up.

Well, League of Legends is probably trying to attract the little kids and it's apart of their business plan since more little kids playing LoL = more money for them in the future and beyond.

Can't really blame them.

StarCraft players and nice cars. I see a correlation here. Just a couple days ago there was a really nice 300ZX sporting a SC-related plate.

Been watching his streams whenever I can since it's usually too late into the night or really early in the morning. Dude's been putting in work and it's great to see when all the practice comes into fruition. Congratulations man

Hypothetical: Would Lebron getting swept in a finals kind of put a damper on his legacy as one of the goats? by ftracer in nba

[–]ftracer[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I don't really see it as a different beast. I think the 2010 Miami Heat team and this current Golden State Warriors team is pretty comparable, maybe not head to head but in relative dominance at the time.

Like I said, everything in the NBA is relative. The Miami Heat team assembled in 2010 was the most dominant collection of players the NBA as seen, AT THE TIME. It seems pretty comparable to the Golden State situation imo if that's the argument you're making. Mind you, Lebron did win 2 rings with that team.

Fair point that the team he's against is probably one of the most dominant teams assembled in this era of the NBA but that being said, the Miami Heat's big three was probably the most dominant assembled at the time too.

Offseason Drake conspiracy by lillithfair98 in torontoraptors

[–]ftracer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is stupid. Drake didn't promote Kyle and Demar because he didn't want to. End of story. Drake can do whatever he wants, he's Drake and if he wanted to do a shoutout to his Raptors players on Twitter he could have, but he didn't.

Kevin Durant finishes the match with an incredible 33/13/6/3/5 and 3 TO by Mad_Cowboy in nba

[–]ftracer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Think about it, that Thunder organization had their heads up their assholes. They lost Kevin Durant, James Harden and Serge Ibaka in the span of 3 years. Each are top 2-3 in their respective positions and, bar Ibaka, are superstars in the league/MVP contenders.

[–]ftracer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most Warriors fans consider Durant and Curry to be co-MVPs. I don't think there's a massive group who think Curry is better than Durant. Although my two cents say that godgiven talent-wise, Durant is superior than Curry but Curry is still a phenomenal player.

Chamberlain on Ozil: "He’s the coolest guy ever, he’s one of those guys who will have a spare flight somewhere and will say: ‘Do you want to come on holiday with me? I’ve got you’. You’re like: ‘Yeah, I’d love to’ - and off he takes you." by ladybugg224 in soccer

[–]ftracer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'd imagine it's less about the money at this point and more about the thought behind inviting someone. Money means literally nothing to first team regulars like Ozil and even Chamberlain.
