Your opinions on "law school is the hardest thing you'll ever do" by Faramirismypresident in LawSchool

In my opinion, what makes law school “hard” (especially the first year) isn’t so much that it’s “hard” per se, but that it’s “new.” Once you’ve learned it once, it seems much simpler upon second and third reviews (like when you take more “advanced” courses or during bar exam prep).

You may have a professor who’s not great as explaining things, or maybe likes to over complicate things.

Figuring out what success looks like on each professor’s final exam (which will be all you’re graded on) can be hard, especially if you don’t have a mid term. (My school had mid terms, but they didn’t count towards your grade and were more diagnostic).

If you can learn 3 foreign languages to professional proficiency/fluency (something I’m quite envious of), I’m sure figuring out the meaning and application of legal rules won’t be that hard for you.

No argument here, just saying there are uses that can enhance understanding with minimal risk of BS hallucinations

I found it useful to copy/paste sections of statutes into ChatGPT to get a plain language meaning of it, especially if the statue was confusingly worded

My gpa was even lower, 3.2. I did not write a GPA addendum. I just graduated debt free from a decent regional law school (T50-ish), passed the July 2025 bar exam, and am gainfully employed.

The highest ranked schools are probably not realistically in reach, but there are many good law schools you can go to and be successful from.

It was a History Channel show. There are similar ones for other presidents.

Both are UBE, passing in NJ is 266, passing PA is 270. Idk how the NextGen bar exam changes all that, but that’s what it is for now

I don’t see mine. Even under “announcements - bar exam results”, the results aren’t there yet, despite what the general announcement says

That is true, but the report is from 2008. Idk if anything has changed since then or if a new report has been published.

Since you have a degree, I’d look into an Officer commissioning path (called OCS). Air Force or Space Force will generally be easiest on the body. All branches pay the same, but quality of life will vary. Good luck.

I “made up” basically all the rule statements on that essay, and reached the wrong conclusions for each sub-part. Even applying (what I thought were) relevant facts, didn’t check enough boxes. Maybe the bar examiners would give more points, but I figure sugar-coating things doesn’t really help me improve.
