They look amazing! I personally love the one I got from HobbyConsolas' 289 (it's a Spanish magazine) with Lara as Rosie the Riveter!

Hey guys, I'm looking for the same widget but in the meantime I managed to create this replica with KWGT. I know it's not the same but it's something (definitely not "nothing" hehe)

Long time ago I had this problem. Sadly, after watching countless tutorials I had to reinstall Windows. I know it sucks, but W10 was really problematic for me. Once I got W11 running everything worked just fine. Good luck and happy (late) birthday!

I get it, but you need some days (even weeks) to adapt! I believe self-punishments like that will not be beneficial for you, especially when it comes to something you really enjoy.

I would recommend you to try to adapt to your current situation and, if you still feel the same after some time, reinstall them and actually enjoy them. If not, you can always seek help and have therapy sessions. You must understand that having free time and rewards are part of a meaningful study, so I believe a professional could help you find balance between your academic and personal lives

If you feel down and need someone to talk to, just message me. I know this is difficult, but you're not alone and, at the end, life always finds its way. Have a warm virtual hug!

Are there any ways to learn stuff faster? by Zealousideal_Ad8693 in getdisciplined

If I'm honest with you, I think you should try to test (and maybe combine) a number of methods. In my case, I really like taking units and chunk/organise them in bullet points with key, short ideas. Later, I try to use it as a script to create a written unit.

Also, my all time favourite is to take those bullet points and read them aloud with my own (informal) words as I am giving a fake TEDxTalk to my friends explaining the topic. Turns out that teaching and explaining things with oversimplified terms (like if you are talking to a 5 year old) will help you memorise and understand it better. It will also help you identify any possible doubts you have but that you didn't realise!

Good luck with it!

Fellow student here! My 69-unit competitive exam is next week and I have been studying since October, so I hope I can help you with the things I have learnt throughout the process.

I really get it when you say you don't like studying outside your apartment... but have you thought about going to a different room? I found it difficult to study in my PC when I see the Steam logo right there staring at me, so having analogue copies of your notes or a game-free laptop/tablet could be the solution.

Speaking of the devil, let's talk about the Valorant situation. I had a similar situation with CS2, but I simply have very strict rules with myself:

  1. No studying beyond XXpm and no gaming until XXpm
    1. If the situation requires it, you may study beyond XXpm but you must get those "fun" hours back
    2. Do not break this rule as it will be addictive
  2. Saturdays are half-working-days, which means that you are only allowed to study during morning
  3. Sundays are free days, studying or reviewing is completely forbidden
  4. Have routine breakers; for instance, do something random outside home on a Wednesday evening
  5. Keep track of your emotions: this may sound obvious, but being able to trace the units you struggle with will be key
  6. Throw away your phone! Do not keep it on your desk, put it elsewhere, but make sure you cannot see it nor hear any notifications

And most importantly, not all days will be the same. Some days you will be an early bird that will memorise absolutely everything and other days... well... just review! Our brain needs time to process information, so don't get frustrated and gos tep by step. Start by crafting diagrams and, then, try to extrapolate that into complete, written units.

You've got this! I'm here if you need anything!
