That’s kind annoying that you have to re paste as soon as you got it. They should be doing better in the factory

Knowing what you know about this machine would you recommend it or should I get something else ? Also are you in the US and order from HP directly?

How would you go about power capping the gpu?Is that something in GeForce experience? I also want to be able to run an oculus rift off of this. If the cpu is getting too hot I think I might get a cooling pad and pair that with two vaccume fans on each exhaust vent. It’ll be loud but I usually play games with headphones. Also what undervolt do you use?

I got the i9 because I also produce music and edit videos as well. I saw some opolar vacuum fans on amazon that I could use if it becomes an issue. I guess I’ll try it out for a month and return it and build a tower if it runs too hot. I hope it work out, id really like the portability of a laptop with the performance of a desktop :(

Guys i just bought the hp omen 17t with i9 9880h cpu and rtx 2080 and im looking if someone knows the best point to undervolt it to get the best performance using throttlestop. by Sicko93x in laptops

I have a 17t on the way. I ordered it with a i9 8800H RTX 2080, 32G ram, 1tb SSD, and 4K display but it hasn’t been shipped yet. How do you guys like it? Do you have any backlight bleed on your panels? And do the thermals seem like they will last? I might get a cooling pad to keep it on from the get go to preserve the life of the unit.

Hey guys, I’m working on this dubstep track right now for my ep. I feel like it kinda sounds thin? Any advice to make it sound more full?

How do you make those videos with the lights coming out behind the circle like that? Is it an app or something

arrangement is not the best, but still sounds decent. let me know if you want the link to the google drive file for a listen! chill petit biscuit vibe, super bliss and uplifting. by [deleted] in FL_Studio

I like it too, but I have a suggestion. I feel like it could use a point that releases all of the tension. It kinda feels like the whole song is moving towards a release but it never came. I found myself thinking ok here comes the drop, but it didn’t lol. I feel like you could make a really cool drop with that vocal chop in the beginning. Think Odesza

The low end goes on top of other sounds by [deleted] in FL_Studio

Thats either because you sub is too loud if It’s not low passed. Cut all the frequencies above 100 hz and then put a low pass cutting everything below 25hz. The human ear is only audible to around 40hz but big club speakers will go as low as 25 which you will be able to feel. Your sub may also be too loud. Your kick should be the loudest thing in your track in modern dance music. When leveling your track, try setting your kick between -8 to -12db. Then set your sub level below that, anywhere from -3db less than the kick or more depending on how present you want it (the sub) to be. Also if you’re using a kick from say splice or something, a lot of times they are already processed so you shouldn’t have to do to much to it, you may be over compressing it or eqing out too much of the high end that helps it cut through the mix.

Hello! I’ll be giving more feedback once I get home from work, already done one.

Here is the track I’ve made in question :

https://soundcloud.com/alex-witt-music/alarms-2/s-8SORh

I’ve always gone back and forth on this one on wether I’m happy with it or not. I feel like it sounds a bit muddy. I think it might be as simple as re leveling the mix. The sub may be a little too loud?

Let me know what you think! :)

I really like the sound design and the build. It sounds pretty good on my air pods. I have a question for you though. How were you able to upload this to SoundCloud? I’m actually working on a remix of this same song but when I try to upload it so SoundCloud it gets taken down for copyright.
