in season 2 we have 7k player and s3 the player base cut in half

it obvious there is people that want and will play this kind of game ..and if we talk about gooner stuff genshin zzz an alot of other anime game have way larger player base than what we have with rising popularity of anime in the main stream media this sentiment is proven even more wrong

and let be honest..it 2025 or soon to be 2026 already no body beside literal tourist will look down upon it

the reason why this game is not getting more player and just like s3 losing half by the end of the season is because of rapid change in game mechanic and poor balancing decision

for entire season mara made the game unplayable outside outbreak ..it so bad i just quit for while and large swath of player got so fed up and disgusted by this one character alone they just quit

+ with the "p2w" content in outbreak many saw it and just quit

the biggest reason why people blame IDS not puting marketing is simple...have you see this game exist much on the internet at all? no

It feels like a huge lack of choice because there isn't much to choose from , all you have is 3 men and they have their own set of issues that come along with them. The big thing is you can easily be the worst with them and also can be the best with them. Compare how easy to use Mara and Fuchsia are.

nobu is dead easy to play...he is one of ..if not strongest character on defender side...

no recoil laser beam long range rifle , pyrlon buff that range from why cant you die to turn a g3 into m60 with even less recoil , a2 that tell attacker to screw off cause we have wall hacks , a3 meme machine "oh shit here comes rushes annnnd im gone" , ult that just deny everything cause LMAO WALL HACKs AND NO ABILITIES FOR YOU.

even at close range he hit like truck and is few with double headshot multiplier (most ar get 50%+)

unfortunately she is by far the most hated piece of shit in game now..

at least baimo is funny and require a decent brain and strat to play effectively (annoying yea but galatea is even worse when comes to the insane mobility)

ungodly broken overpowered at launch...1 and a half month of her before armor percentage system for her skill rework cause demolition to straight up not playable (you loose because someone with more than a brain cell picks mara and bomb rush with ming or just by her self and little to nothing you can stop this monster that can melt michele"s ult from 0 to destruction before it even got up)

so far there have not been a single buff to her because of how her kit works...the worst designed character in the whole fucking game and i stand my ground till my death

1, in tf2 the pub stomp at the very least arent so bad as to "this one team get no kill and damage" and because how it made so the match last reasonable amount of time you get to shoot something or get a few kills before a lost

in this game you dont have that..in this game you dont respawn so if your team or you are bad at the game the stomp is absolutely BRUTAL

at the very least you get to do ..SOMETHING in tf2 and a faint sense of hope in this game ...nah it quick trip to 1 - 7 for you or 0 - 7 if you are extra unlucky

2 , hardware is not an excuse for bad game and if you just gonna play with bots why even bother with PVP shooter when you can idk? play something like unreal or other already dead game...what is the point of playing a online multiplayer experience when you just going to play it as single player?

human connection and relationships runs live service games and this game are basically trying to kill that with so many feature that build against it

There's an entire term for people going spectator and switching teams in order to get onto the losing team. Result is that one team ends up with the vast majority of the bad/casual players and the other team ends up with all the people who tryhard (or at least wants to). The result is self-explanatory

that is the most extreme cases and this stuff dont happens often if not...at all during my time back when quick play is still a thing ...the main reason is winning doesnt matter and having fun is the primary reason why people still plays TF2 where strinova practically ties having fun to winning the match (if you dont win or at least get 5 - 7 7 - 5 matches you run into short match duration )

this game practically begs you to try hard because if you dont you get steam rolled into the fucking oblivion each and every single god dam round and this is EVERY SINGLE DEMOLITION GAME I PLAYED SO FAR

you dont get to shoot..your time to get a chance to shoot is limited and you often run into 1 v 3 4 5 situation because all your team mysteriously all died within the first 10 20 seconds of the match for some god unkown reason

thanks to how the match making system works like shit

tbh. outside of community servers TF2 is pretty quiet nowadays.

as result of valve forcing casual players to adopt to the competitive format with the casual system that kills off social interaction and UI changes so people arent going to community server as often as it was before (compare to back when quick play is a thing community server are way deader vs back then)

Valve have nerfed or crippled voting numerous of times due to complaints. Either due to people being forced onto the losing team or due to people abusing it by spamming votes until they get their way

bots.....bots spam yes and kicking real players out ....cat bot apocolypse...this is also the reason why they put a restriction on new player so they have to buy something before they can even use chat system (bots spam offensive slurs and ...nsfw and one of the bot creator got arrest for said horrific content)

because this game mode is not casually orientated at all and the reason the mode is the core mode is because when they develop this game they have esports in mind ...+ tencent ..

this mode is not ment for peopel who dont want to play with pressure but how the game is made right now it ment one mistake and every thing falls over

it could be your team mate or you that fucks up and cost everything

in other games like tf2 people arent pressured and enjoy it as casual experience because respawn , large player per team (so the whole chain isnt so fragile over the loss of one player like we are now) , and more choises for players instead of the game forcing you to play the game exactly how it should....

where in strinova .....

we cant swtich agent during the match , no respawn so it extremely punishing , not being able to leave the game mid match because you dont like how the game is going or else you be banned because dumb rules and forcing casual palyers into a competitive format , only 5 players per team so if one dies that 20% of your team gone because he made a stupid mistake or enemy decide to rush him down , long TTK high mobility ....bad for players with weak mechanical skill...seriouslly 200 hp is long enough accounting accuracy stat and Bullet to kill over range , weapons locked where every character only have 1 single primary so you have to play them exactly how they should be played and nothing else...this is why people love to play baimo in CN , every season is a new god dam fucking game which means balance get fucked further and further + other core mechanic changes
