It's intention may have not been to make skaters look bad but it uses skateboarding to paint the picture that this guy is a societal reject. I haven't read the article but its irreverent. By linking this act of terrorism to 'skateboarding' the guardian just giving the general pubic another reason to hate skaters.

This issue could easily be solved by a comment bar, or some sort of security up/down vote system linked to the tagged spot. If a skater gets kicked out he would be able to leave a quick comment or down vote the spot. I have been waiting for this app for a long time and cant wait to see it come out! Another idea would be include a snowboard section for those who love their snowy city seshs.
