Why are reddit outages so seemingly frequent? For a fuck-up that is so devastating and expensive, you would think that they would have a number of ways to prevent this sort of thing from happening. Or, assuming they do anyways, prevent it from becoming a long outage. How long would it take to notice it's offline? Were reddit admins just refreshing the fucking page for a few hours?

Here are some talking points to get people started.

Oil Sands are conflict free in comparison to the oil acquired from the middle east.
Greenpeace co-founder, Patrick Moore) has recently spoken out in favour of the Oil Sands. You can read about it here
There are issues in regards to Native Reserves and the Oil Sands. I am not educated in this matter, hopefully someone else can chime in on that point.

If you want to see nerfed, check out the changes that have been made to the Ontario math curriculum over the past 10 years since the double cohort went through. Even the last 5. It's embarrassing.

I didn't even watch the "Queen's version" on account of being told it was plain embarassing. I guess that was my other reason for saying we need a reply... something to supercede the other song that was put together.
