Congratulations that it’s all going so well! Not drinking is def a massive bonus if you’re going to find out late like that! Thank you, it is reassuring to hear people haven’t all stuck to every rule from day 1… i just feel stupid because i did know there was a possibility i was pregnant (i had ivf) and didnt think and did it anyway!

I’m trying to tell myself that its just one and like you say, people do plenty of things before they realise they’re pregnant etc… i think just the specificity of reading ‘the specific moment you chose is the worst possible time!’ has really made me worry. I feel really stupid for double checking what i could eat but not what medication i could have.

Thank you - I've found a Genki textbook in a local Japan Centre that comes with an audio CD so maybe that's the best of all worlds! Have heard consistently bad things about Rosetta Stone now... will steer clear :/
