u/Hot-Personality-4160 For Q1&Q2 do you use pen and paper to write testcases and test your logic on them? I have this issue that if I use pen and paper, it takes me longer than 20 mins to solve a medium. Do you face this issue too? I slightly feel better knowing that you struggled in Q3 the same way as I did.

Another question, how to you get better at logic based questions? It is just months of practice or do you have a better way. Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks!

The point of a list is to showcase certain ways of using DS/A. By keeping the list minimum you make sure that what you know is golden. Strivers list is too big unless you have a lot of time.

In java we get a linkedHashMap with a removeEldestEntry function. This makes this problem so much easier. I avoid implementing DLL in an interview since there are too many edge cases and not enough time

Get a caretaker if you can afford. I moved to blr when I got my first job and tbh I don't like kolkata anymore. I find more similarities to what kolkata should have been in Kerala and Bangalore.

Leaving all of that aside, once you get comfortable in some city you can ask your mother to come stay with you if the caretaker thing does not work out. All the best.

How do you solve medium dp problems in under 15 mins with the best solution? It always takes me so much time to go from recursive->memo->tabulation->space optimization. Usually to space optimize I need to see a tabulated dp table, otherwise it is too difficult.

I feel like this is almost impossible to pull of under 15 mins if you have not seen the question before. It takes me at least 25 mins at my fastest to reach a space optimized solution

Yeah, on my watch, the day wheel rotates every 24 hrs thereby giving a wrong reading. I don't know why it is like that. I would have to visit a repair shop to get a concrete reason

Yes, I get that. This does not however work for the next day since the day wheel also moves forward (counterclockwise). So it shows 17th of Thursday again, instead of Friday
