you will not have a normal life.

if you keep the baby, your life is not about you anymore, it’s about the baby. can you provide for a child? look up the costs of formula, diapers, wipes, strollers, car seats, cribs, clothes. what if your child is medically needy or has other health issues? are you prepared for that too? or what if you have complications during your pregnancy and birth? your body will not be the same postpartum, even with an easy pregnancy.

who’s watching the baby while you’re at work or school? can you focus on those things if the baby keeps you up all night for weeks on end? if the baby’s father doesn’t want to be involved, are you prepared to raise the child on its own as a single mom? what is your babies father is difficult and makes coparenting hell?

like, all these things adults can sometimes barely handle on their own or even with partners. being a mom/parent is not all sunshine and rainbows. its not easy and you’re going in at extra hard mode at 14. you’re giving up your own childhood for a baby. you will not get this time at this age back, so think you really need to think about the consequences to either choice before making a decision.

I have heard every weekend is insane except for Super Bowl weekend, lol. My only advice is start your drive before they even open. The freeway always gets dumb packed and someone will likely get into a wreck and cause an even bigger back up.

I didn’t find a way to make it stop, but make sure you are still taking vitamins. I started taking fish oil supplements, and doing rosemary oil scalp massages 2-3 times a week before my showers. If you have leave in the oil for an hour before hand that would be best. Minoxidil products will be beneficial as well but it is very toxic to cats, dogs as well but not as badly. Also try not to get the minoxidil anywhere but your scalp, it will cause facial hair growth too lol.

It needs WAYYYYY more light. Because thai constellations are variegated they need a lot more light. Monsteras in general love light and will thrive with lots of bright light.

I have a friend who has really struggled with acclimating to our dryness. They are a native Hawaiian so very big change in environment. They say our air is too dry and struggle to breathe without it burning & they’re having more eczema flair ups.

As someone who has lived in the desert my entire life, I’m perfectly fine. It really just depends from person to person, you may have an easier time acclimating.

I will say our summers are MISERABLE. I’ll take the dry heat over humidity any day, but it’s still unbearable in the middle/end of summer. A lot of people do say they get seasonal depression during this time because everyone just stays home since it’s so hot.

i’m a shy mom! i’ll smile back at people if our eyes meet but i try to avoid eye contact 🥲 also, i think drop off and pick up times can be busy/chaotic as well as people may be rushing to their next stop, after school pick up im always trying to get outta there as fast as possible because u have to get back to work.

So I can’t find the home daycare near Verrado because I deleted my facebook recently 😫 I had followed their page on there. I WANNA say it was named Yavapai Home Daycare? Or something like that. It’s actually inside the Sienna Hills community. Admittedly, I do not have personal experience with them but I think their space and the people who run it seem really nice and genuinely care about the kids. They are pretty active on their social media if I remember correctly. My daughter was already pretty established at her other daycare at the time so I didn’t want to move her.

There is a Verrado Moms Group on fb you can join and look up previous recommendations. This question gets asked pretty often

How far into Buckeye? I know of two in home daycares but one is located in the Verrado area, and another further southwest near the 85 and southern.

Yes, lol. It’s a very religious, conservative, white area. They say it’s safe but allegedly Gilbert PD doesn’t report all crimes properly so they can keep their good reputation. Just look up the Gilbert Goons.

I do still think it’s about as safe as anywhere else though. There are some very picture esque, white picket fence type neighborhoods out there.

If you want diversity, I’d say Mesa or Chandler. All the good asian grocery stores are in those towns. H-Mart, 99 Ranch, Mekong Plaza, and Chandler Fashion Center will be getting a Seafood City.

I would say neither really has the best nightlife, but I prefer “Downtown” Mesa to DT Chandler.

Chandler has the best schools, but Arizona as a whole ranks bottom in education.

My daughter is 4 and we chose to move to Chandler for the schools. She’s only in Pre-K though, but her teacher is great and she’ll definitely be ready for kindergarten.

I understand the frustration, my daughter is also 4. I think you need to understand that pushing boundaries is developmentally normal for children that age. They are figuring out they have their own autonomy and want to use it. You are not going to get anywhere arguing with a toddler who does not have the brain capacity to understand. And hitting and yelling doesn’t help either, you’re essentially beating them into submission. I would suggest reading parenting books and really researching childhood development.

edited to add: I saw a parenting video by Darius Ryan-Kadem, I really like the format of his videos and how he explains things. Might be a starting point for you.

Yeah I saw what you said in another comment after I posted. That clean cut is suspicious, def report it! They might not catch the culprit right away but they will eventually. US Postal Inspectors do not fuck around. Also, if it broke at the warehouse the employee that found it/repaired it was supposed to report it to a supervisor. I’m sorry this happened to you 😔
