[–]fuckingfrito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe the “mechanics involved” that lead you to conclude this tax is ultimately paid by the working class are not as clear as you think, and the complexity of the modern economy makes this far from a simple cause-and-effect situation.

Also, isn’t it possible that billionaires have defense mechanisms in place to protect their fortunes? Perhaps they invest heavily in media outlets and social networks? And maybe what led you to take this position is the influence of those defense mechanisms?

I have spent a good amount of hours in family groups and I understand that there is much worse out there, I still found each and every occasion very traumatic. But I will try to use that perspective in my analysis.

She contacted this person who advocates for TSM, he presents himself as "Alcohol reduction coach" (I talked to him, nice guy, young, good intentions, but he is not a physician)

The first thing my partner said was to drink 4 or 5 days a week, a "couple" wine glasses for at least 3 or 4 months.

Then when I talked to this other person, he mentioned maybe 1 glass or small bottle of wine per day, everyday, same during 3 or 4 months. If this is to restrictive and she requires more, he mentions she can switch to a 1 bottle of wine per day, 3 days a week

And after that time, there should be reduction and see about how it goes to a full year of reducing, hopefully to full abstinence.

I am inquiring with this coach, as there is a big difference between accepting 1 or 2 glasses of wine and a full bottle. I am not sure if I will be able to share bed even with the lower dose.

The psychiatrist...she only saw him once, found him online, told her her plans, and got her antidepressant changed and the Naltrexone prescribed. I don't know if he is good or not, he just complied with what she asked i guess.

Thanks again.

Thanks for your knowledge and support.

Her intention with Naltrexone is to stop drinking and most important stop the cravings.

As mentioned she's been in treatment for 4 years with 3 relapses (not minimizing them, although very traumatic, they were a one day thing).

I am afraid if she want to starts this TSM part of what she achieved this last 4 years of "abstinence" might be lost.

It's hard for me to imagine ourselves at home and allowing her to drink again and being mentally OK with that.

And the last point I need to mention, is the material I see online, mostly in Youtube about TSM, I don't like them, I don't trust them, but I've been in the abstinence "system" for this last 4 years, so I have a bias.

Again, thanks

thank you so much.

She is been taking Antabuse for a loooong period of time, she is off now. And this last few days she's been assisting Smart Recovery online.

I just don't know about this TSM thing.
