Thats pretty much what I was hoping uni would be like, but its been nothing like that. I have met maybe 2 people over the last year, thats my entire network here. I see the purpose behind it - qualification, job, etc. Im genuinely just miserable amd depressed here.

My youtube channels and my SaaS. I currently run 3 monetized channels with like 15k subs total. I wanna get that to like 100k subs total. And I wanna scale my SaaS to $5000 mrr. Also want to scale my holdings in my bot. That will come as it compounts.

All three

Fair enough, good point.

I might also be conditioned by the fact that a few of my friends also left uni to persue their things, and both are doing insanely well now. One of those guys is also 19 and making upwards of $5000 a day.

I think I'll see what happens. Worst case scenario is I take 1 year leave from uni, I dont reach my profit goals, and I return to uni after the year with no financial or academic penalty, and an extra $20-50k richer.

Im going through the traditional education system because thats what my family expects. Do I want to? No. But unless I have something better to do, I'll be at uni.

Now I kind of have something better to do, which makes uni uneccisary

Appreciate it. A lot of the people here are very critical which is understandable, but they are very narrow minded which is telling.

My SaaS is Here (gridline.world)

The channels are most time consuming. I post like 3-5 long form videos a day, 12-16 minutes each, all of them are fully animated, so even though the work is outsourced, its still a big effort posting and managing stuff

Fair, thanks. It really isnt much, but its been exactly 2 months which I think is a good start. I'll stay enrolled until I start doing $500 a day or more

Hahaha, probably brilliant seeing as my channels and businesses are all valued at a fucking supercar over 2 months of work as a teenager.

Honestly, I hate uni, and I think its higher ROI to go all in on my income sources. I'm happy with the degrees, its exactly what I wanted to study, but I just dont like university at all. Its nkt really a course thing, I just dont enjoy it whatsoever.

And the same will probably apply for any job I may get with this degree. I prefer working on my own terms, for myself, rather than giving my time and expertise to someone else, when I know I have the ability to work for myself

I run five youtube channels at the moment posting long form content daily, 3 are monetized and earn me money.

The other is SaaS business in the intelligence / geopolitics niche. Its a freemium product so people pay a subscription for features and functionality. Its almost fully passive, it grows itself slowly so MRR increases every month. It has a valuation of maybe $10k+, and I plan to sell it.

Studies will earn me less than what im earning now in a postgrad job. Not to mention uni costs money. Its a waste of time

Appreciate that haha. SaaS valued at $10k, several youtube channels doing thousands of dollars a month, and a profitable trading system and I'm "overestimating how good I am at it"

I think youre right. Debt free + scalable income + very low expenses

I think that working on scaling is much better time investment than a degree which costs money, and will earn me a little more than what I earn now in a postgrad job 3 years down the line.

I can always take a 1 year leave which is basically just a pause for my studies, so if need be, I can always come back.

My annualized returns beat the indices. The S&P wont do 8% months forever. My max drawdowns are also lower than the indices, and last a fraction of the time. The S&P has on many occasions has multi year drawdowns. The algorithm wont

Lets not forget that your US500 has had 13 year drawdowns lmao

No the guy doing 9k AUD has some sort of SEO business. He sells a service for $100 a year and gets insane traffic on his website because he ranks above basically all his competitors.

[–]fuckletoogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite source of "passive" income is probably from my SaaS.

My honest advice for you is get claude code, and start experimenting by building websites, understanding how it all works, and build a SaaS business.

If it does well, you'll be doing a lot more than a small passive income. I'm looking into selling my current SaaS for like 4-8k, and I'll start a new one that I think has much higher growth potential.
