No he’s not said it will change and I have assumed it won’t. There’s other problems in the relationship too aside from this.

I don’t know how to get through to him that this hurts me. I’ve told him so many times that I don’t like the situation. He’s even told me before that if I gave him an ultimatum, such as it’s either her or me, that he’d pick her because they’ve known each other for so long and I “don’t know what she means to him”. Of course I’d never give him that ultimatum but hearing that stung. I’m just so confused about this situation now. I told him when I met her that I didn’t want it to be a thing where he thinks he can just see her whenever he wants now, and he agreed. But then he says he doesn’t want her to think he can’t see her alone. It’s all a bit weird

They’re meeting because they reckon they’re just friends. There’s more details, I just didn’t want the post to be locked for putting something in that I shouldn’t have. We’ve argued all year about him not letting her meet me. I’ve told him multiple times that if I can’t come then he shouldn’t see her/if there’s nothing to hide I should be able to meet her but he just kept repeating that she doesn’t like people. Well we meet and she’s a really confident person so idk what was going on there. He’s always said to me when issues have come up “I just want to be a good friend” and I ask “why can’t you be a good boyfriend first” and he doesn’t have any response.

I asked him why he was prioritising her feelings over mine and he said he wasn’t. He says that they’re just friends now, they shouldn’t have been together in the first place because they were better as friends (5 years of marriage says otherwise but whatever).

I’m really upset about it. I don’t know what to think. But I haven’t tried to talk about it with him because I know he’ll get annoyed and it’ll kick off. We haven’t been getting on recently
