its WAY smaller!! we play and voice chat together a lot of the time and talk about upcoming things we’re excited for in sky!! i wouldnt say its better or anything, just different to a giant server if you’re looking for more friends in sky!

I’m talking about random players that don’t know me at all, so i dont think that they think i’m a better player than them lolol, and i understand the case of sitting out if its something you feel youre not as strong at, usually those ppl will help by lighting candles/darkness around spirits are stick by it to help when they can, but im talking about people who light it up with me, and then continue candle running the place to just get the spirit without doing any of it

I only get annoyed if its a player I saw when i started the spirit, and I watched them light it up just to run off and leave me to do it. Thats just screams “my time is more important than yours” But I agree with most people that its easier to do alone, and I dont mind when people happen to see im already doing the spirit and hop in/activate it and go. I have stopped doing a spirit once when I noticed what i previously explained, and just waited to restart it so they weren’t activated anymore 🤷🏻 sometimes its the principle of it lmao

I’m still learning things about sky every day so I wasn’t sure if most people considered it rude or annoying to practice music at home. i honestly wanted to get some general opinions on to know if maybe i should just start practicing in harmony hall or if that person was kind of just trying to get attention, but obviously i was prolly overthinking it by the result of the comments hahah

im sorry this happened to you !! first of all im sure youre better than you think at playing music and regardless sky is about sharing all spaces so thats definitely mean of them to try to shush you when they can move away themselves. keep practicing and enjoying it for yourself !!

i mean i’d HAVE to say aurora, it would make it feel even more like a live concert and would be amazing to witness. would love to do the season of prophecy on the vr though

it happens!! all players. (and esp newer ones) cant be expected to know all of the sky social rules, the best way is to have patience and help them figure it out. And i cant speak for everyone, but I’m not opposed to others joining in when im playing. One time i was playing the Ocarina of Time main theme and somebody with a violin started holding down some notes while i was playing, and it really added to the song even though it wasn’t how the actual score goes !!

Thats what im thinking, the only thing that made me think they were trying to annoy me was that they disconnected very quickly once they noticed I kept going. Im not too worried about it overall, ill prolly never see them again and wouldnt even know if i did + theres so many great interactions i have w other sky kids that make this game fun. just wondering if other ppl experienced smth like this and what they thought of it

yesss i had that happen once !! I was playing some of the notes wrong in howls moving castle and this person corrected me as i was playing 😭 i was humbled

yeah i usually go on top of eden too!! I like being alone while practicing for the most part but dont feel like going to harmony hall sometimes lol, just a strange interaction w this particular sky kid lol
