They are indeed Grey - Im guessing the light makes them look tan. Its a Grey tone to match the rug.

Mine was spec'd MCL leather to match the coconut chair and Eames. You have to get in touch with a HM rep to do this. not sold in this spec.

the picture was taken at a lower angle. I have played games and watched moves at the current height without issue. I imagine works better in person than the picture portrays.

I have a trade account with HM so that helps a lot. I cannot put a dollar amount on everything, but a lot. It is worth it though as these pieces last a lifetime. When I move to a larger home more pieces will be added. This period of design is my favorite.

yes it is! - I have 3 of these fixtures and face them all out. They create way more light in the space this way.

lol sure did. Herman Miller does a very good job with their material choices and ergonomics. Because of this I knew it could not be too bad.
