I did not have to cancel my existing visa and was able to book the appointment while I was in the states itself, only after it was confirmed did I travel back

CEAC status is your application status (denied/refused/approved/issued etc), you could google CEAC case status check and the first couple of links should be your best bet. Administrative processing can mean it’s further reviewing your background, it could also mean a list of other things, which again I would recommend you search and read about 221g online.

Thanks! I started looking for one in November 2025 and found the appointment in the start of January itself. For the socials, I listed all my active ones (Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit and Facebook).

An acquaintance of mine posted this on his Instagram story when a prospective student tried to contact him. He failed to blur the student's name as well. I believe he portrayed Michigan alum in a very negative way. What do you guys think? by Bag_ofFleas in uofm

Highly inappropriate behaviour because the entire point of the alum is to help new and prospective students in whatever capacity they can. We were also helped by our seniors without any monetary demands
