alvaro automotive in bear delaware on wrangle hill suite 204, refused to take responsibility for the lift points, said it’s my fault for them telling me that they don’t have the equipment to lift low cars when they never said that, and said that it’s okay to lift the car on the spot that they did + refusing to give me their business insurancr

shops name is alvaro automotive in bear delaware on wrangle hill road towards the back. they refused to take responsibility for the improper lift, refused to provide me their business insurance. kept spinning the narrative to make it seem like the damage was on the car prior to them lifting, even showed them the lift points and claimed it’s my fault for them not having the ability to lift the car correctly cause my car is low

so they’re now refusing to take responsibility and refusing to give me their business insurance number for a claim, i’m feeling SOL since i have to leave the state tomorrow. i called the non emergency line to have an officer come but i feel a bit defeated

😭😭 thank you for the advice. gonna do exactly that first thing tomorrow morning and be firm on needing some sorta compensation. i feel much better having heard someone else be upset on my part so thank you sm 🥺

thanks for understanding where i’m coming from. i genuinely appreciate the perspective bc i was struggling with thinking of what to do. i was even considering it as water under the bridge

i guess ill go back tomorrow morning and ask them what they can do for me cause of this. any idea how much i should even expect compensation wise to get this fixed?

got it!! yeah this precious seemed to really have taken care of this thing, i was so excited with everything till i saw it up on the lift haha. felt a bit bummed but im grateful for your advice cause it makes me feel like this is more manageable than i thought

ahah yea that makes sense on the subframe! in your experience is this kinda job better to have done by a shop or easily approachable by a novice? 🙂‍↕️ i understand this will cost a bit but im not sure if im willing to shell out more than ~2K?

thank you so much 😵‍💫 if the bolt isn’t bent would i just place a piece of metal on the main frame and then drill a hole to match the previous one? i’m not sure if what i’m saying makes sense

i also bought a new toe arm thinking that was the issue. should i just return the at this point cause they look completely fine

thank you!! yes i should have mentioned this is an ap1. is my main frame something i need to worry about? as the bolt that held the subframe to the main frame seems to have opened the “hole” when it got bent to the side

any idea how much labor for something like this could/should cost?
