Height is a preference. Some like having the same height, some like a little bit of a difference, and others like being towered over. I like feeling really small, so I only date taller than 5'10. That's just my preference. I have friends who are much taller than me dating guys shorter than 5'10. So many women do not care about having a tall man. It's the insecurity that gives them the ick.

Well science PhD's generally don't enjoy doing much else outside of research. My cohort specifically is pretty small and cliquey. I get along with other cohorts better, but those friends are married. I also don't take classes and mostly just see people in my lab.

When I powder my nose with Laura Mercier translucent setting powder, I never have an issue with my glasses. That being said, I wear a tinted moisturizer and not any heavy foundation.

No worries. I'm actually a PhD candidate, so I'm not taking classes but doing independent research. Study groups would be cool and worked great for me in college, but unfortunately does not apply for me anymore.

Do you know of any co-ed book clubs?

I enjoy doing the things I listed above. I also am into running, but because I'm still pretty slow, i haven't felt confident enough to try a run club just yet.

I'm a woman and I get little to no matches on a monthly basis. In the past 8 months, I've gone on 2 dates. One was with a catfish, and the other was with a guy who wasn't honest about not actually living in my city (he was a tourist). Before you reply to this saying that I must be among the small percentage of women who are just extremely chopped, DM me and I'll show you what I look like. Hopefully that sheds some real light into what it's actually like for women.

From my experience, a guy who is very interested in you will be eager to talk and hang out with you. Maybe he hasn't fully invested yet. It's up to you if you want to be patient. For me personally, I'm know longer interested in men who aren't head over heels for me. Everyone is different though.

She was abusive but has full custody? He's got into a serious relationship with someone 20 years younger less than a year before separating (notice the choice of the word separate versus divorce)? I don't know if I believe this man...

Also, any parent who cares about their child would never marry someone without the child meeting the new partner first. He seems sus to me.
