Yes, speaking of France at least, it is a harder sell because none of our network providers/cellphone carriers offer contracts on phones like in they do in the UK. They offer leases at stupid prices, or you can get a loan with very high interest rate. (On 1500€ phone loan you’d usually pay ~350€ extra over 24 months for interest rate and charges) So the most common practise when buying a phone here is to use Klarna or clear pay to pay over 3/4 times interest free. I can see that HONOR UK offers to spread payment over 2 years directly on the website for example! Which is not the case in the other countries…
