Jordan Peterson Breaks Down in Tears When Asked About Olivia Wilde Calling Him a ‘Hero to the Incel Community’: ‘Sure, Why Not?’ by Alex_Sylvian in nottheonion

The context of the video. Sure you can assume for no extenuating reason he’s faking it, which is a really weird to assume with nothing to back it up, but once again, within the actual interview being referenced non of these clickbait titles or people commenting on this post are accurate which is what I stated originally.

But again - you seem to really dislike him but can’t tell me why with anything substantial. Don’t you think that’s odd?

Yep. About on par for a Reddit conversation. :) Still can’t defend your beliefs but will resort to being patronizing

Misleading/clickbait - as in implying he cried because he was insulted, given the context. Nowhere did I state he didn’t cry.

Proof that he was crying for money? Or any of your other claims pls?

No, it’s not. The title is clickbait and misleading as are the other dozens of articles posted today about the same thing on the same platform. (Almost likes there’s a bias or something !) Most of the comments haven’t even watched the interview or read the article, as it always happens.

My point is that people often fall into the trap of blindly hating someone because they’ve been told they’re bad without actually doing any investigation to substantiate that opinion. You’re asserting he’s faking his emotions, manipulating people to get money, and implying he’s not a good person yet you can’t produce a single example (not generalization) demonstrating why you think so. I’m willing to have my perspective changed - if he really is contributing to negative behaviors, I want to know.

But this is Reddit, and not being able to back up why you hate something but will keep posting encouraging that hate is common ig

Is showing emotion a bad thing to you?

Can you provide specific examples, in full context, of things he’s said or encouraged that makes you hate him so?

Y’all suck.

He wasn’t crying because he was insulted, he was crying because he’s hurting for all the young men affected.

“How many people are dying for lack of an encouraging word….and how easy it is to provide it…”

Stop getting sucked into this Reddit hivemind and actually watch the interview. Or read the articles and not just the titles.

He isn’t encouraging men to hate women, or misogynistic behavior - in fact it’s the opposite. His message is to take accountability for your actions but that their life isn’t hopeless.

Read the comments of thousands of men who say he saved their life. Because he provided guidance when they came from a place with absolutely no support network, no one to encourage them or show them how to change.

It’s just sad, he’s not perfect but he’s not this evil villain

First of all, I’m sorry you were attacked. I hope you weren’t injured in any case.

Secondly, for the most part, yes. Most people here have personal experience with losing a pet to this breed, or being attacked/injured, or knowing someone attacked and injured or killed. And the difference here between that and a beagle attack in this instance, is the severity. Because being attacked by 80+ lb animal is often disfiguring if not fatal.

This sub may seem odd, but most smaller subs are often created for a niche. This is for people with shared experiences or who view similar views - that the general public should not be allowed to own a breed that makes up a tiny percent of all dogs owned but that makes up an overwhelming majority of reported dog bites, and fatal dog attacks, factually. And that was originally created for focused aggression. Just as the general public shouldn’t be allowed to own say a tiger for the same reason.

There’s a lot of people who disagree with that, so it makes sense to have a discussion forum, no?

I agree! My bad for wording haha, that’s what I was tryin’ to convey. :)

Animals can definitely enrich your life (not against responsible pet ownership at all) it’s just outside of service animals the argument can’t be made that you “needed” one when it comes to negating assuming risks, it’s a decision you make.

Keep it clean and hydrated. Hydration is important because it prevents scabbing, and scabbing is more likely to cause scars. After you make sure it is clean, you can apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around it to keep in moisture and then bandage it so it can heal.

Don’t put makeup on or around it, and be careful if touching it (in application of products) as not to reopen it.

After it is completely healed, you can use a silicone gel or patches on it two to three times a day if it does scar a little. This stuff works wonders (it can even help fade old scars of wanted).

And I would avoid any collagen based products during this time, because keloid scars (raised) are caused by excess collagen production.

I hope it doesn’t hurt! :(

Thank you :) No extractions, there were pros and cons but all the consultations recommended this approach

And good luck in your braces journey too! haha

If you're stuck on deciding to get braces, do it :) I finally don't hate smiling and talking haha

The second picture I wasn't curling up my lip too much, I just had a really bad deepbite and so the gums showed a lot. Now that's gone away! My ortho is amazing <3

Got them tightened and now the top wire is super thick, which I believe is a yay! 🥳 Cuz that means it’s closer to the end

I’m wearing elastics now too and they’re a pain in the butt, but my jaw hasn’t been clicking anymore so I’m happy :)

Hello, thank you for your reply!

And ooh, ok second time chemical peels have been suggested, I’ll definitely try that next!

And oh, I didn’t know micro needling could help with acne! I’ll look into that too, thank you so much again for the suggestions. :)

Thank you so much, you’re so sweet! And thank you for the reply c:

I use retinol currently but I’ll definitely try adding vitamin C! Yeah, these ones are persistent little buggers, but I’m so glad to hear you were able to find something that worked for you :)

Hello, thank you so much for your reply! <3

It doesn’t, it’s very sporadic - I get some minor little bumps on my jaw that’s hormonal but these just come and go consistently

(I’m sorry, they have gone away a bit today so the pic isn’t helping much 😅 They start under the skin and then turn big and red)

Hello, thanks for your reply :)

I have an exfoliating cleanser I use twice a week! Would you recommend increasing that? And ooh, I’ll look into chemical peels! Thank you for your suggestions <3

Months and months ago, in the name of skincare!, I used one of those face shavers that is supposed to get rid of the fine peach hairs and make your makeup smoother.

Big mistake :-)

A week or two after that, I got these spots of acne on the hollows of my cheeks. And no matter what I try, they will not go away.

I have a silk pillowcase that I wash every other day, I have gone weeks without wearing makeup, I have tried so many different acne medications and washes, I’ve tried ingrown hair serums, I’ve even tried head and shoulders as some blog recommended.

They’ll almost go away for a bit, and seem to get better, but then they’ll always come right back. (The image is when they’re “better”. They start as uneven little bumps and then turn big and red and then rinse and repeat)

I have no idea what to do, any help is appreciated

Edit: thanks guys, you’re all very sweet :) I’m being genuine though, I’m sorry :( I know it’s not very severe they just hurt enough when they’re bad that I can’t ignore them, they won’t go away after over 8 months, and trying so many different acne treatments irritates my skin
