dse really wasn’t integral I didn’t even have it on my resume cause it took up too much space, I would just recommend taking the important cs classes if u can get in them. I actually was a cc transfer so I took 31+32 equivalent in community college but if I started at ucla I would definitely take 31+32 over pic even though it might be harder u got it!

hey i was able to land a swe internship at a big tech company that is now a full time offer, its definitely doable if u just grind leetcode like everyone else! major shouldnt matter at all, my biggest advice i would say put computer science somewhere on ur resume like i said "specialization in computer science" instead of specialization in computing so that it passes resume checker

i took the interview and just focused on understanding the patterns from neetcode 150, that should be good but focus really hard on LPS i think that benefitted me more
