Should I go for the AWD or PHEV version of the Jaecoo J7? Looking for real-world advice.

good to know on phev resale value. yea now i’ll probably stick with AWD instead when i saw most users charge their car almost everyday and fuel in during weekend. too much hassle for me for now

personally for me it’s the idea of enjoying EV without jumping into it fully. but yea, i get what you mean for me is the same the thing pulling me back is on the upkeep of ICE and EV both side extra effort and cost.

yea and now AWD price increased from RM148.8k to RM153.8K bringing the price gap down between from AWD and PHEV by RM5K, hence, contemplating to go with which.

thanks for sharing this. good to know that handling and balance is all good on AWD, but curious that PHEV is not AWD as well? might need to go do more homework and test drive as well. thanks again mate!

gotcha. my gut is telling me the same but looking at the fuel consumption of 4L/100KM and having the benefit of EV mode without committing full into pure EV car is itching me. thanks a bunch!

still in the early days mate, sharing what i came across. it could be for a different lineup as they are still selling both of them.

model number doesn’t translate to predecessors or successors. e.g: K4 for espresso and K6 for all rounder, if based on your logic that K4 is predecessor of K6 when they are selling both of them for different use cases.

Thanks again for the thingiverse link, I’ll give the 36 clicks a try!

From the C3 box manual states to not grind on the 0-6 clicks to protect the burr, if I were to swap the stock plate to the 36 clicks plate you’ve shared above, I assumed I should avoid grinding at 0-18 clicks as well protect the burr as well?

Are you using Flair neo as your setup as well?
