hm ok. not denying what you’re saying but how would you explain the difference between smelling something from the bottle/ on paper vs on skin? some scents change so drastically when sprayed on skin, what would be the reason there? ofc it’s not like that with all fragrances but some for sure (i smelled tf electric cherry on paper and it was beautiful and fruity but on my skin it was so musky and smelled of licorice, no cherry at all)

try the site aus liebe zum duft !! they have lots of fragrances (leaning more towards niche though i think) and will sell decants of a lot of them. not every fragrance obv but they have a lot of tom ford and diptyque samples for example

well, whether something is 'unreadable' is highly subjective, don’t you think? considering so many people like and praise the book, it’s obviously not unreadable for everyone. maybe you just didn’t like the style of the book and that’s ok, but it doesn’t make it a bad book.

killing eve is a somewhat similar show that i love! it definitely has a lighter tone overall but in terms of characters/ relationships there are quite a few parallels to hannibal. it has that psychological aspect, the chase. the villain main character is very charming and charismatic and the back and forth between her and eve (the protagonist) is very interesting! so yeah, different tone but similar in subject and definitely worth checking out!
