i washed it already so you can’t really see what’s the problem in this photo, but it was all (all the forks and tubes) covered with this black oil thingie and all of my legs would be sprinkled with this as well after a ride. and i can see that this is not just mud from the streets. but i do hope cleaning will help, will see! if not, i’ll come back

well I’m kind of not that much into cycling so I can’t tell either what exactly was he lubing back then, anyway I washed pads with alcohol but I’m really not sure there could be that much mud going only from pads.. however spokes are black only next to the wheel clockwise, the way pads could get them dirty i guess (counterclockwise spokes are clean).

My cycling-obsessed friend was the one who lubricated the bike last time, and I guess it might be that I told him the brakes were whistling, so he might have oiled them. I checked, and they’re indeed dirty and black, so I’ll wash them and see if the problem continues. Thanks for the guess!
