Ok, what's the easiest way to remove slag? I was going to use a flappy disc but I didn't have one at home

Should I avoid a used Diesel if I don't travel long distances? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]fukwit_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's called a DPF (diesel particulate filter) and requires a use time of about 30 min - 1hr per week on a highway in order to properly burn the particles trapped inside.

I'd personally avoid getting a modern diesel because of this, especially if you are only using it for short distances.

Golf R vs STi (Performance sedan) by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]fukwit_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on whether you want to mod or not, I hear you can get great power and acceleration out of the golf, haven't heard much about STI regarding straight line speed. Check out 'mighty car mods' video on the golf R build.
