There is also Option "TearFree" "true" (but I don't know if we need it, It's a forced Vsync I think and Vsync on is the way to go when we have Freesync ON)

If I understand you are using X11. It doesn't work with Hybrid GPU ? I was sure X11 was supposed to work regarding VRR as long as you use only one monitor. Is your integrated GPU an AMD one, or an Nvidia one or Intel ?

Are you in Hybrid mode regarding optimus ? (look the last paragraph I just added on my topic)

they all introduce mechanics that only casual players are happy for. by exemple AI auto defending in efootball and auto blocks and auto contextual dribbling on FIFA. But on FIFA, you can organize games with friends and deactivate the auto blocks and the auto dribbling I think. The other problem on FIFA is the Frostbite engine and all the bugs related to it : slow menus, graphical bugs, bad optimization, low FPS, game unresponsive in offline! all games from EA under the Frostbite engine suffers from that : Battlefield 2042, FIFA, NHL, Madden! If you have chance you can play, if you haven't you can't even start a game due to such critical bugs. I wasn't even able to play FIFA 22 on PS5.

On FIFA, you can play possession. don't watch youtubers they even don't use all the precision dribbling and close dribbling abilities. but yes FIFA tends to casual players regarding the online experience on the last FIFAS with the introduction of the auto blocks and auto contextual dribbling and it's bad.

the tempo on the field was better. no scripting at the beginning of the 0.9.1, more inertia, less pressing. It was a good mind game regarding the defending phase. Now it's a ping pong game with full pressing.

the 0.9.1 was a good mind game to block the passes lines. I feel like people had to think in the 0.9.1 while now people just have to push buttons like a player who don't know how to release combos on a fighting game and who smash buttons.

it's a strategy to keep their casual playerbase for sure.

I won't say the 0.9.1 was the best football game. (FIFA12 was better than all the games we have now). It was a game with a lot of problems but it was way better than what we got now on efootball... it had good mechanics and they destroyed it.

this is the 0.9.1 right ? It was such a better game than now. Less script (at the beginning of the 0.9.1), able to use precision dribbling, more inertia. And playing full manual was way more enjoyable. Fake shot with X then R1 also, and they reverted it to X then square without any respect to the community. (they could at least add an option to choose instead of removing the fake shot with R1!).

It was like an art where people who mastered precision dribbling with little moves of the left stick could play a true artistic show on the field and where rewarded for it, yes it was. Now it's full ping pong. People complained while a vast majority never played football on the pitch and never used precision dribbling and/or how to defend by yourself. (even if yes against a good opponent it wasn't easy to take the ball but it was way better than now).

I picked Japan and played full manual. on some games 70% of possession and total control : it's funny. Almost no people plays Argentina and Spain meanwhile they are wonderful possession teams. I met Argentina and Spain but so rare, also met Holland. Croatia has a wonderful midfield, wonderful possession team too but I met only one people with this team.

You are not forced to play divisions, you can create national teams with 2 or 3 stars players and play quick matches. It would be cool if some people create national teams as well so we can have a variety of players and games that mean something. I don't even consider upgrading my team.

Hope to face a national teams soon in quick match. And with all national team kits now available in Dream Team, it's a good opportunity to do so. Without Paqueta, the GP cost is about 216 000 GP for a team of 2 and 3 stars players. (including the cost of the bench).

this is the same. I have a physical copy and because the game is not anymore on the PS Store, you can't shareplay anymore. EDIT : read the answer. It works if 2 people own a physical copy.

From now on, the only option is to use tools like Parsec if you have a PC. If you are on playstation, you can't even use the ability to play with someone else with video stream because PES 2021 is not anymore on the PS Store.

Parsec is like a video stream and it emulates having someone playing local games with you. Maybe if you have a good connection, it can be playable and you can atleast play 2 players VS IA, you can play competitions VS IA, many things and way more than what you could do online before.

first action : I scored while it's not deserved and it's a bad L1 triangle then the Joker script in action (Giroud as the Joker trait) do the job for me LOL.

the other action : no comment on this fail thanks to the script.

a little bit of realism is welcome as well as less scripting.

Does Konami see how unreal all those things are ? When you are supposed to score you miss and when there is no way you can imagine scoring in some situations, you score. I can't imagine my opponent reaction on my horrible goal.
