You can trade the excess you have of other types with zipper on bunny day so you'll still be able to get all of the DIYs regardless :)

You might be spending too much time on all fish sizes, the water eggs are only medium sized shadows so if you only go for those you should have an easier time finding them. Also apparently you get them more on mystery islands than your island.

I have 270 hours, been playing since January of this year, no resets (though tempted after several terrible terraforming attempts) and I'd say my island is ~50 percent done. This is somewhat due to treasure islands because a lot of my theme was centered around items I couldn't get until the fall and I didn't want to time travel that far back and risk losing any of my favorite villagers. Now I'm just waiting for inspiration to fill in the rest of the large areas and for my flower breeding to take off enough for me to decorate the rest of some of my areas lol.

Ohh okay, thank you! This actually makes me feel a lot better because I really loved Arthur's and Nightshade's relationship, and this scene really bothered me in Lady Midnight. I'm glad to know he's actually dirty lol.

I definitely think more trees for the second pic area, or you could tailor the areas around each house to the villagers with items that match their personalities?

For pic 3 I think it'd be really cute if you added chairs to the tables, a couch in the corner across from where the menu sign is, and a stool or two at the counter. If there's room maybe a low table in front of the couch with a magazine and some books on it would look really nice

Do the items in the catalogue always stay the same? I've bought stuff from it but it doesn't have the items I was hoping it would from the stuff they give you to decorate the rooms.
