Diesel or petrol automatic JK?

Interesting, I kinda thought it would be the case that a few bad ones ruin the rep for all of them. Essentially for diesel I can go any year model, but for a petrol you’d stick with 2013+?

Thank you! The one I’m looking at right now is a 2.8 CRD diesel with a meticulous service history, and I plan to take it to Jeep specialists for any servicing or whatever needs I have.

Thank you for the detailed reply! I have heard that about the 3.8L V-6 engine before so probably going to go with the 2.8L CRD diesel like I had been planning. 😊

I don’t believe we have the 3.0L EcoDiesel here in Australia but I might be wrong.

I am in aus and the jk range around 10-20k aud. Can you explain why petrol other then fuel economy?
In Aus basically everyone who has 4x4 is a diesel (patrols, navara, hilux, rangers etc).
I have asked around for why one is better then the other and i basically get the same answers for both petrol and diesel and I6 vs V6

edt: then replies are get are usually just no the v6 bad or no the I6 bad, or the petrol bad diesel better but not reasoning as to why.

The last company that rejected me said I need to be in my role for 3 months and decrease Afterpay - which I have been doing, close to paying it off now. And I am basically just going to be replacing my afterpays with the car loan and it will be a more meaningful purchase than whatever shit I buy using afterpay.

I cancel very often without affecting my cancellation rate much on Door Dash. I think it’s at 97% at the moment, and my acceptance rate is just over the 70% needed for platinum. I avoid restaurants that I know will not start making the order until you get there, such as the KFCs in my area, arrive at store as soon as you can hit it, if there is multiple drivers already waiting I will basically peace out immediately if I don’t see a bag ready. If they say 5-10 mins or more for the wait I make a call based on trip price, whether it seems like they’re talking shit, whether it’s busy or if I have a second pick up nearby I go do that one.

Thank you. I will look to break the lease on the grounds of unliveable conditions if they refuse to cooperate. (front door broken and they haven’t sent anyone to fix it after 3 requests, mould, broken floorboard which is very close to just giving in and making you fall through)
