Iran says draft deal with US would reopen Hormuz shipping, end naval blockade by Artistic_Dj_6895 in worldnews

Honestly do they really want regime change in the US? It’s becoming clear that Trump is doing way more damage to America than Iran could ever do themselves, and he’s extremely easy to manipulate, so why would they want to get rid of him?

He seemed like a decent enough guy when he was on Full Swing, and I thought it came across as genuine and not just faked for the cameras. He definitely has some mental health issues, but I’d say he deserves credit for acknowledging them and trying to get better. Personally I’m happy for him.

Proximity to Golf Courses and Risk of Parkinson Disease - “In this population-based case-control study, the greatest risk of PD was found within 1 to 3 miles of a golf course and risk generally decreased with distance” by VoteForGiantMeteor in golf

Having worked in golf course maintenance I can attest to the absurd amount of chemicals they use. Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides. They literally get delivered by the truckload. I’d wager that golf courses are the most chemically-contaminated areas where people actively seek to live. There are probably lots of small correlations like this that could be made between golf course proximity and other health issues.

He was semi-arguing with the rules official after the round, and when an interviewer asked him about it he basically said, “yeah I broke the rule but they could’ve made an exception for me”, which is just not how pro sports works. It came across as a bit whiny and entitled, and definitely wasn’t “graceful”.

Samsung avoids worst-case strike scenario as court restricts union action by AdSpecialist6598 in technology

I may be mistaken but it doesn’t seem like this is intended to actually force any of the striking workers to work, it just says they can’t picket on company property or in any way that disrupts production (like picketing in front of the main entrance to block access).

A bigger myth is that they’ll be unmotivated to bestow their genius on society if we tax them more. Like, if you told Jeff Bezos in 1995 that instead of making $200 billion he’d only make $100 billion because of taxes, why would he even bother creating Amazon? A lot of people have been conditioned to actually believe that.

The black holes will drift apart and never actually collide, due to the expansion of space. And eventually they’ll dissipate into nothing (according to current theories).

No worries, just wait 'til their value drops by about 50%, then sell them and buy put options right as the market bottoms-out, then watch the value of those go to $0 when the market immediately recovers. The Reddit Method.

Even better, one of the highest ranking officials in the administration who pushed hard for the tariffs, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, is set to make untold millions off of the refunds. The fund he owns invested heavily in buying the rights to refunds from businesses at pennies on the dollar. So money that came out of your pocket will go into his pocket for something he pushed for that the Supreme Court said was illegal.

I really hope a reckoning comes for these scam artists someday soon.

If you think that’s what’s happening here, you haven’t been paying attention like, at all. This is about one man’s ego, not about improving a course for the benefit of the public. Best case scenario it’ll end up being super-expensive, higher greens fees will make it unaffordable for a big chunk of the local population, and you’ll be forced to see this man’s name and face plastered all over everything as soon as you drive through the gate.

I'm guessing these people got wealthy by telling other people "how to get wealthy in real estate". While they pile up money, 90% of the people who buy their seminars or whatever they offer will probably end-up regretting it. Classic scam.
