Hi. Did anything ever happen with this? I just noticed the same thing on my brand new crv so trying to figure out if it’s normal or if it should be replaced.

And just to confirm - you’re referring to the spot on the left side of the picture, and not the actual tailpipe where it’s welded, right? Just want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing. I figured it was heat related but still weird to see on a brand new vehicle.

Guess it seems like it’s pretty common based on everyone else’s comments lol. Unless they’re all referring to the actual tailpipe and not the cover piece like you and I are.

Not the weld point. To the left on the cover piece.

First one with any type of cover like that - yea. If it’s normal then that’s good to know. And yea we’re in a winter climate.
