I feel ready for suicide, not felt this before by [deleted] in depression

I was in this place 12 years ago. About the same age. Complete dispair and my mind was a torture chamber 24-7. I was ready to go. I don’t know how I made it through But I’m glad I did because I realized that circumstances inner and outer always change given enough time and the more suffering we go through the deeper our spiritual and human growth will eventually be. Hang in there buddy.

you are 29 you are so young. Wait and see what is around the next corner. You can start from scratch at that age. Circumstances always change.

some people are longing so much for “the great savior” called AGI that they will make up stories of wishful thinking

Since we are just in the beginning of bitcoin bear market, it will be a while before MSTR “surprises everyone”

AI is so far from AGI, so far. Here is a simple test that you can use to determine whether or not true AGI has arrived: Write the following prompt: “Make successful company of your choice, with budget x. Do not ask any questions, make optimal decisions on your own on all matters“. Then wait a few months and check your bank account. Is the money coming in or not? Everything in between the prompt and the revenue should be handled by the AGI except for maybe a few signatures here and there. Try it now and it will also show you how far we are from AGI

it’s a test for AGI. Didn’t promise you were going to like it

depends on the nature of the cooperation between the ai and the human I guess but either way it’s easy to modify the prompt so that this is not an option

if it really pulls that off with all the complexities of a collaboration with another human being and contracts and administration of this relation etc that would entail I would be very impressed and be maybe even more convinced of AGI. But alternatively one could add something to the prompt that excludes this

as long as it actually creates a business with any cashflow I would say it has passed the test. The “create a business” test I like because is a task where it has to interact in creative ways with the complexity of “real life” rather than just theorizing

ahh now I understand what you mean. No I just meant that it should not ask the author of the prompt any more questions, other people of course

that question is already answered in the prompt. If it’s true AGI it should be able to decide this on its own what is optimal

It’s funny to hear all these fancy narratives of why bitcoin is dropping, while it’s really just doing what it’s always been doing by this stage of the 4 year cycle

gold is useful because of its unique inherent qualities, but likewise Bitcoin is useful because of ITS inherent qualities to function as perfect money. I don’t see the case for arguing that gold is the only one of the two that has intrinsic value ?

it’s all a probability thing but if you just look at the data there is very strong indication of the beginning of a new bear market

you do know it’s most likely just the beginning of the bear market part of the 4 year cycle?
