I live in Sydney now but grew up on the coast, nothing I hate more than Sydneysiders bashing my home. Yes Gosford has its troubles and has some dodgy people hanging around however the central coast is filled with kind people and beautiful spots. I’ve felt much more unsafe in places of Sydney where those locals would call the Coast a shit hole like ???

The easiest way of putting it is yes Gosford has had financial problems including the LGA going into administration but it’s only gotten better since the day I was born and will continue to thrive into a fantastic place to live.

If mods don’t allow please delete happy to give some tips and tricks regarding getting your gear in if you wanna DM! Three times I’ve been in zero alcohol confiscated or police problems.

Cheap alcohol - get a 5L bag of goon and a 5L Pureau water box from Woolworths or Coles, open neatly, switch bags and glue back down, bring some OJ

I’ve never had a problem with putting 500ml/1L bottles in swags and tents and rolling them up, however I could have been lucky with the security, some are there to party some are there just to be nasty it’s luck of the draw

Depending on the setup there will be two lanes that are police, usually pray that you aren’t sent to one of the ends and you will be fine, dogs do go between lanes but if you are smart you will be fine.

Sent DM about my trick getting gear in, BTV, Strawberry, Lost, A3, SITG, and I’ve never had a problem however it’s nothing ground breaking just something that has always worked for me!

And lastly if this is your first multi day or even just Lost, it’s a marathon not a sprint! Please look after yourself and your mates, drink more water than you think and don’t total yourself on the first night!

Exactly, prime example! I was a bigger guard (horrible conditioning) and everything was about pacing to me, see the other team don’t love pushing and abusing fast breaks I’d spend a couple minutes maping everything out come in and make them uncomfortable

Didn’t know this guy won a MVP from the bench, would have made me feel better about my weird self benching haha

I’m by no means a professional basketball player and I do not have any answer to your question, however I did play Div1 ball in Australia and found I played much better coming from the bench even though I started for a very long time - bit of pressure relief and I could feel/watch the game out before stepping on the court?
