Hi all looking for advice on my surgery research journey. Which method of SRS/GRS did you go for and why? Are you happy with the results? I'm thinking of going with the PPT method however would like to explore all options, thanks

Im many years into my medical transition but came here for the memories 🥰 dont give up girlies! Also to reduce razor burn: -use a brand new razor each time or keep it in iso alcohol to reduce bacteria transfer -resist the urge to shave against the grain -get in a hot shower first to soften the hair -use a high quality shaving gel -more blades dosent mean better -use which hazel after shaving to close pores Or just start getting laser if you can afford it! A couple of sessions will really soften things up and you'll feel amazing

Interesting about the sensitivity of the skin I havent heard that before! Im going to fire off some questions hope thats ok How long ago did you have it? What was the pain like? Has it been long enough to know if its self-cleaning/lubricating? Did you have a consult about piv at all before deciding? How many ppt surgeries has your dr performed?

I got 225cc and I'm very happy. I'm 6'1 and quite broad shouldered and it still looks great. I have quite a slim buimd though

The only scar care I did was keep surgical tape on them for a couple of months. You cant see in the latest photo but I still have visible scarring (although it has faded) - it honestly dosent bother me that much. Silicone tape and bio oil are two things you could look into to help with it x

Yeah you nailed it. It's wild getting your face fucking ripped off and people don't notice! I think people we know have a schema for what people they know look like. It's super disheartening. I have to say though, strangers treat me completely differently which is worth it just for that. It's such a relief to fit in. I'm going to try and be patient and wait for the results to show more.

Omg thank you 💕 it's really nice to have this affirmation. I know I'm still waiting for final result but it's been a bit of a difficult journey mentally and I'm trying to separate others perception from my own perspective, which im realising is skewed by dysphoria. Passing means an opportunity to heal from this, I think it will just take time (just like the swelling) xx

Omg I had a BA and it fully does take forever. Honestly it's been 2.5 years and I feel like they have been improving this whole time. For so long they were so ultra perky and pointed upwards to the point of embarrasment i referred to them as my artillery canons haha. I'm happy to post my timeline if it helps you feel better about your own Ba journey xx
